I've had the watch for about a couple of months and I haven't had any functional problems with the device. It appears to be consistent and accurate. It doesn't always get the HRM data when I initially put it on, but if I lick it or allow just a little bit of sweat to build up, it starts functioning properly. When I'm done with a run I wash and dry it off and the heart rate data stops being sent. I assume the monitor has shut off and is conserving battery. I haven't had to replace the battery yet. br /br /A few minor annoyances:br /- Aesthetics: I didn't expect the watch to be so light gray. It's fine for me, but I'm not too picky. I would have preferred an all-black watch, but I wear it everywhere and it sort of grows on you.br /- The fact that you have to be in Chrono mode to record HRM data is rather annoying and I don't see any reason why it would have to be this way. br /- The HRM strap was tight initially. I'm a 40" chest and I had to have it all the way on the max setting. As I've worn it, though, the strap has stretched and I now have to tighten it somewhat to keep it in place. br /br /Besides a few annoyances, it's very functional (so far) and I'm very satisfied. It was well worth it for the price and if I lost it, I would definitely buy another one.

Liked it with a couple caveats - E. Skell - Hartford, WI United States
I like the aesthetics of the watch and it does its thing pretty accurately. I used this watch in conjunction with the heart rate monitor on the elliptical and treadmill at my gym and the readings were always in synch. I am not crazy about the chest strap as it is pretty small, better suited to a woman than a man. I am a typical size guy and the band is pretty tight. Also the band is held to the sensor with a cheesy fastening method that is kind of a pain (a little duct tape cured the issue). Also getting the modes setup and retrieving workout data is a bit awkward.br /br /In the end it does what it is supposed to do and its cheap.

Great Watch - Brenda H - Chicago, IL United States
This HRM works great. I work out at the gym for about fifteen hours per week, doing everything from weight lifting to kettle bells to aerobics to circuit training. I managed to plateau a couple of times and needed a better handle on how many calories I burned as an aid in setting a better workout schedule. Of course their our limits in terms of what wrist and chest sizes the monitor and receiver will fit. Too bad that information is not made clearer. Out of the box, the monitor is about 36". It probably expands another 10-12". My wrist is small. (I'm only 5'1.) It fits a little loosely, but that seems to not affect its accuracy.
